✨ CONVOCATION for Class of 2024 ✨
Convocation is the official opening to the graduating class Senior Year! There's so many special parts of the day that allow the seniors to realize - "hey, this is it! I'm graduating in a few SHORT months!"
From our chorus singing beautifully, to Dr. Aaron Spence congratulating our seniors, Dr. Amy Cashwell stopping by, and the senior families that were able to come to celebrate their student's last year with us. And in case you didn't hear, Deep Run's Graduation date for the Class of 2024 will be MAY 30th at 3:00pm at the new Henrico Sports & Events Center located at Virginia Center Commons. More details to come about Graduation later. But for now...
May these memories forever be cherished! More images will be shared via email.
Special thank you to Dr. Aaron Spence for his convocation speech today, Dr. Amy Cashwell for coming to congratulate our seniors, the faculty members that put this special event together, and Dr. Fellows for a successful event!

The annual State Fair Field Trip was a huge success! DECA & JROTC had a great time experiencing the joys of the fair this year! Pig races, fair food, games, rides, entrepreneurial chats, and the time to create stronger bonds with friends.

Advanced Digital Media Students spend time with Mr. McCray critiquing their sketchbook ideas for their upcoming project. Critique is one of the most valuable feedback processes an artist can go through as it teaches them how others view their work and potential improvements.

When was the last time you walked into a completely silent classroom?
In American Sign Language Class (ASL) students sign to their virtual instructor and each other in silence. It’s an eerie feeling to walk into a room where students are actively communicating with one another in absolute silence. The ASL class is taught virtually through Henrico County’s Virtual Academy. Mrs. Jennifer Barnes who is deaf and mute teaches the class virtually from Louisiana.
Did you know there was an ASL course offered at Deep Run?

Did you get to see “Barbie” this summer? No? Well, you’re in luck!
Mrs. Herrmann’s Fashion Marketing I and II classes were assigned to create a Barbie design demonstrating their personalities and fashion inspirations. The criteria was to use any of the resources available to them, add flare, and share Barbie memories.

It's Picture day!
